Information collection and use

What Information does BIODERMA may collect about me?

When you interact with www.bioderma.ie, we collect information you provide through the form filled which is used to identify you (“Personal Data”). This information is confidentially stored and password-protect which only BIODERMA Ireland, distributed in Ireland by Anfi Cosmetics ltd., located at 18 Upper George’s Street – First Floor Dun Laoghaire Co. Dublin, authorised employees have access.

The information you provide us through the pop-in e-newsletter subscription

When you enter on the www.bioderma.ie website, a pop-in window to suggest you subscribe to our e-newsletter appear. By accepting, you voluntarily give us access to your data with the right to store and use some of your Personal Data:

  • Your email address.  You may stop sharing that information with us at any time by unsubscribing through the footer of the e-newsletters we send, by responding to one of those emails, by emailing m.miconnet@bioderma.ie, or by sending a mail to the postal address mentioned above.

  • Your full name & title, date of birth, email address, phone number, postal address, city, county & country. We do not store or use any data received from a child aged less than 16 years old.
  • Information regarding your type of skin, skin disease, type of skin of your family and if you have a child younger than 3 years old. This information will allow us to know which ranges sold in Ireland & Northern Ireland, among Atoderm, Sensibio, Sébium, Hydrabio, Photoderm, Cicabio, Nodé and ABCDerm, you would like to receive information about.

The information you provide us through “contact us” forms

Through “Individual”, “Health professional”, “Pharmacy, health and beauty stores, wholesalers, grouping” and “Applicant” forms, you voluntarily give us access with the right to store and use some of your Personal Data to get contacted by BIODERMA Ireland regarding your enquiry in the future:

  • Your full name & title, date of birth, email address, phone number, postal address, city, county & country. We do not store or use any data received from a child aged less than 16 years old.
  • Filled data. As your job title, enquiry, CV, cover letter, message, ..etc.. you may fill through a form on www.bioderma.ie.

How is my Information used?

We may use, process, and store your Information / Personal Data according to our legitimate business interests, including:

  • to communicate with you and help you to find the answer to your enquiry (according to the subject filled in the “contact us” forms)
  • to send you direct marketing emails regarding special offers, articles published, new products/ranges, advice, tips, news of the BRAND, and all necessary information (Privacy Policy, Legal Notices, ..etc..) about BIODERMA, from which you may unsubscribe at any time.

Please note that BIODERMA Ireland will only communicate with you via email, postal address or phone number, if you live in Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland and if you consent to us doing so at the time you filled a “contact us”form or if you subscribed to our e-newsletter.

Does BIODERMA review User Content?

Only BIODERMA authorised employees may monitor or view your User Content in our legitimate business interests or if you request to access, correct, or delete your Personal Data from our Database or if we received Personal Data of a child younger than 16 Years old that needs to be deleted. Finally, to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of BIODERMA and subscribers, your Information may be viewed to comply with our legal obligations, as responding to warrants, court orders, or other legal processes.

Does BIODERMA collect and store information from children?

BIODERMA does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If we determine we have collected personal information from a child younger than 16 years of age, we will take reasonable measures to remove that information from our systems. If you are under the age of 16, please do not submit any personal information through the website.

Does BIODERMA website use cookies?

You are informed that during your visits to the sites www.bioderma.ie, cookies may be installed on your terminal equipment.

Used to differentiate unique visitors to the site. The latter is updated on each page viewed.

This cookie is used to follow the visit session of the user. This cookie expires as soon as the user remains inactive for more than 30 minutes on the site. This cookie associated with the utmc cookie makes it possible to follow the visits (sessions) on a given site.

__utmc

This cookie works in addition to the __utmb cookie to determine whether or not there is a new visit by the current unique visitor.

Where is my Information stored?

Information submitted to www.bioderma.ie will be transferred to, processed, stored, used, accessed and password-protected in the Republic of Ireland, BIODERMA Ireland head office 18 Upper George’s Street First Floor Dun Laoghaire Co. Dublin, by authorised employees.

How secure is my Information?

BIODERMA respects and protects your Information and takes all precaution needed to ensure its security. Your information will be password-protected (or under the equivalent form of protection) and accessible only to authorised personnel.

However, Internet data transmissions, whether wired or wireless, cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and as a result, we cannot ensure the security of Information you transmit to us, including Personal Data and User Content; accordingly, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk.

Once we receive your data, we protect it on our server using a combination of technical, physical, and logical security safeguards. The security of the data stored locally in any of our Software installed on your computing device requires that you make use of the security features of your device. We recommend that you take the appropriate steps to secure all computing devices that you use.

How can I delete my Personal Data detained by BIODERMA?

You may edit, view or delete all information received by BIODERMA at any time by unsubscribing through the footer of the e-newsletters we send, by responding to one of those emails, by emailing m.miconnet@bioderma.ie, or by sending a mail to the postal address BIODERMA Ireland, 18 Upper George’s street First Floor Dun Laoghaire Co. How long is Personal Data retained?

You may remove your Personal Data from BIODERMA server at any time by contacting us through one of the options mentioned above. However, we may keep the information you provided for as long as reasonably necessary for our legitimate business interests.

Which are my rights? How can I exercise them?

As individual located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights in respect to your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete Personal Data you provided:

  • Access your Personal Data. Send an email to m.miconnet@bioderma.ie to get a detailed report that includes the Personal Data we have about you, delivered to you in a structured, commonly used, and portable format. Please note that BIODERMA may request additional information from you to verify your identity before we disclose any information.
  • Correct or delete your Personal Data. Update your name, email address, and all information you wish to upgrade, send an email to m.miconnet@bioderma.ie. You may remove your Personal Data from BIODERMA by following the same step or by unsubscribing through the button in the footer of our marketing emails. We will execute your request as soon as we receive it and we will keep no trace of any of your Personal Data.
